Some internet fax programs allow you to use your own fax number. There are typically charges to transfer your number into their system and charges to transfer your number out of their system. For example, MyFax charges you $20 to port (transfer) your fax number into MyFax and to port out that number you would have to ask the company you’re porting it to. However, some web fax service providers don’t allow you to use your own fax number under any circumstance.
